Appreciation makes things last

"When was the last time you found out the hands of your watch stopped moving?"

For the past few days, the weather has been very cloudy. I kinda missing the morning sunshine, when the warmth of the sunshine radiates the gentle heat and touches the skin. It just feels so right and pleasant. Human nature always work this way. We never learn to appreciate not until the moment when we found out, the things that we are familiar to are not longer there.

I had my Applied Thermodynamics extra and replacement classes today from 9am to 4pm. There goes my beautiful Saturday, facing the same lecturer for the same subject. Woke up kinda late today to prepare for class. Class on Saturday is like another torture to a lazy bum bum like me, what even worse, a 6 hours lecture.

Since it's a Saturday, I decided to go for casual wear. Instead of wearing the stainless steel, formal Casio watch, I decided to go for the baby pink, leather strap Elle watch, a lovely birthday present from a meaningful friend. Just when I was about to put it on, I realised, the time shown was actually not accurate. Took a better look, the hands of the watch weren't moving.

The weather and the stopped watch, they just reminded of something. Things can happen in the oddest and most unexpected ways. There are moments, memories or things that don't mean to be taken for granted. What you are familiar with the most might change like the weather. What you are relying all the time might shows the wrong information. Appreciate these while they are still right. However, even when the things go wrong, don't worry too much because life itself is going wrong in things and get back to the right track. Just like the weather, it's either sooner or later, beams of morning sunshine will shine through the windows again. The watch will starts working again after the change of battery. You'll be fine, again. And this time, much stronger and more appreciative.

Na-Na *.*
