Paint My Heart. Our Hearts

The past defines who we are....agreeable?

Simply, the past defines what we have done and how it gave us the impact, either at that particular moment or in the whole life. For the past is an event that can't be changed, the experience, the feelings that took place in the past could never leave a person and probably will stay with him or her for a very long period of undefined time, maybe for forever, and eventually rooted into the person soul, eating the life bit by bit, day by day.

The past is the story of a person's life or in the development of something. It could be curiosities that create another string of details that eventually develop the histories.
However, how unfair is it to define a person just by the stories, the histories, the past? They said, it's fair because we pay the fair price of what we have done, but isn't that mistakenly taken as the punishment? Why would you and I want to torture each other with punishments while we both clearly know, we seek for forgiveness, for compassion, for fresh starts...for a chance, maybe?

Sometimes, I do wonder, is it true or valid that the story of a person's life defines the soul of the person. So bad, evils will forever be devils and the angels will forever stay nice and decent? Funny thing is, how do we tell 'forever'? Even 'forever' is just another term of undefined period of time. It could be a day or a year or never. Still, we use 'forever' like we know exactly how long it goes.

There we go, so what if we get to know a person's past? so what if we get to reveal the ugly truth of a person? or defining a person by his or her stories? How ridiculous of us to define a person while we, ourselves are not even exactly in that person's shoes but randomly defining the whole incident as if we know very much of it.

To me, humans are pathetic. You and I. We are always hoping our own rooted soul to be accepted freely by the people around, especially the loved one..but have you ever considering the truth that, while hoping our own soul to be accepted, we refuse to accept someone else's soul which could possibly be broken too.

Quoted from the English all- boys group, One Direction's Story of My Life,

"Written on these walls are the colors that I can't change
Leave my heart open but it stays right here in its cage"

And all the colors that you have painted in the past is not possible to be changed or excused but one thing for sure, you can beautify the picture as much as you wish to, right at this moment. After all, you are the painter. You paint your life. You paint your heart. You create your own painting. Meanwhile, be fair and be considerate towards yourself and the other painters next to you. Perhaps they are struggling for creativity too. Maybe they need some materials or paints from you to make an excellent painting. The name itself is painting, so, colors are the key points and fortunately, colors are infinity.Share the paints, the lights and let's sprinkle some magics on each other. At the end of the day, we leave nothing in this world but the impression of our painted picture and how you and I have painted on other's too.
